Your Stay
No one looks forward to a hospital stay, but at Moberly Regional Medical Center, we work hard to make sure your visit is as pleasant as possible. Here's a few things you should know about your room and the hospital in general that can help make your time with us restful and healing.
Moberly Regional Medical Center offers private and semi-private rooms depending on medical care needed and room availability.
Communication Boards:
Each patient room has a white board to facilitate communication between the patient, their caregivers and their family members. The boards focus on important care goals like pain management and are updated as necessary at the beginning of each bedside shift report session. Please speak with your nursing staff for more information.
Telephones:
Patient rooms are equipped with telephones for your convenience.
For (free) local calls, dial '9,' wait for a dial tone and then dial the number.
Long distance calls must be made collect or using a credit card. Dial '8' and then '0' and you will be assisted in making the call.
For in-hospital calls, simply dial the four-digit extension.
Hearing Impaired Services and Interpreters:
TDD telephones and interpreter services for the deaf are available. Interpreter services are also available for patients having a hard time communicating in English. Please speak with your nursing staff to learn more.
Mail and Flower Delivery:
Mail and floral deliveries will be forwarded to your home after your discharge.
Meals:
In-room meal service is provided three times a day. Menus vary and are based on prescribed diet needs. A guest tray can be ordered for those who wish to remain with their loved one for $4, but all visitors are encouraged to take their meals in the cafeteria. For more information, please call nutrition services at (660) 269-3047.
