Moberly Regional Medical Center honored physicians on National Doctors’ Day by supporting the Moberly Public Schools Foundation and Randolph County Ministerial Alliance. The medical staff chose these nonprofit entities to receive donations on their behalf.
National Doctors’ Day serves as a moment to honor the dedication, skill and unwavering commitment of physicians in providing quality health care to individuals and communities. This is the fourth consecutive year physicians were honored with a Doctors’ Day donation to a local nonprofit organization.
“Every single day, we are grateful to the physicians on the Moberly Regional Medical Center Medical Staff for the care they provide to our patients and the difference they make for those in the communities we serve,” said Rod Sisk, Moberly Regional Medical Center chief financial officer. “Our donation in honor of Doctors’ Day is a way to extend their commitment.”
A $1,500 donation was made to Moberly Public School Foundation to award three $500 to graduating students entering the medical field. Additionally, a $500 donation was made to Randolph County Ministerial Alliance to assist in the organization’s efforts to assist citizens in need in Randolph County.
