2022 Nursing in Excellence Award Winner Announced at MRMC

MOBERLY, Mo. (December 9, 2022) - Erica Dollich, licensed practical nurse at Moberly Regional Medical, was recently recognized as MRMC's 2022 Nursing Excellence Award recipient.

This peer-nominated award – created in recognition of the critical role nurses have played in treating patients throughout the pandemic – was open to qualifying RNs and LPNs working in a direct patient care position who consistently demonstrate characteristics synonymous with nursing excellence. These characteristics include outstanding care, compassion, service and innovation, and reflect the efforts of someone who is a demonstrated team player and/or mentor to others, is a leader in times of crises, and who regularly promotes health in the community.

“Erica always comes to work with a smile and strives to brighten the day of coworkers and patients,” her nomination form stated. “She goes above and beyond for coworkers and works extra to be sure the unit hours are covered.”

Since joining MRMC in September 2021, Erica has been responsible for providing nursing interventions to improve and maintain the emotional and physical health of the psychiatric patients on MRMC’s senior behavioral health unit.

“Erica goes above and beyond for patients,” her nomination form stated. “She is attentive to patient comfort and is compassionate with both patients and their families. Erica works toward providing a good patient experience.”
